Campaign rules

1. The promotion

Onga Food My Way Kitchen Makeover (“the Promotion”) is run by Promasidor Nigeria Limited (“the Promoter”), owner of the Onga brand. [to confirm: registered address]

The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, TikTok, X or any other platform.

2. Who can enter

The Promotion is open to residents of Nigeria aged 18 or over. You do not need to be a content creator to enter.

Employees of the Promoter, its agencies and their immediate families may not enter.

3. When

Entries and voting open on 2 October 2026 and close at 11.59pm WAT on 14 October 2026. Entries received after the close will not be accepted.

Winners are announced on World Food Day, 16 October 2026.

4. How to enter

Register on this website with your name, phone number, email address and date of birth, and verify your phone number with the one-time code we send by SMS.

Upload one video of you cooking a dish your way, no longer than 60 seconds, and one photo of yourself with the dish, then tell us in a few lines what makes it yours.

One entry per person. Duplicate phone numbers or email addresses are flagged and may be removed.

5. What your entry must be

Your own work: cooked by you, in the space you actually cook in, and filmed by you or with your permission.

Clear: the video must be well lit and clear enough to see the cooking. Entries that are blurry, dark or unclear will not be selected.

Suitable: no sexual, violent, hateful or unlawful content, no other brands placed for promotion, and nobody in it who has not agreed to appear.

6. Approval

Every entry is checked by a member of the campaign team before it is published. Your entry shows as pending approval until then.

If an entry is not approved, we tell you why by email. The Promoter may remove any published entry that breaks these rules.

7. Voting

Voting on an entry opens as soon as it is approved and published, and closes with entries at 11.59pm WAT on 14 October 2026.

Each vote is verified with a one-time code sent by SMS. One vote per verified phone number per entry. [to confirm: per entry, or one per day]

Votes that are bought, automated, made with fake or recycled numbers, or otherwise not genuine will be removed, and the entry they were cast for may be disqualified.

8. How winners are chosen

Votes decide which entries go forward. Winners are chosen by the Promoter’s panel from the most-voted entries, judged on the quality of the entry and how well it shows the entrant’s way of cooking. The most-voted entry is not automatically the winner. [to confirm: shortlist size]

The panel’s decision is final. Winners are contacted on the phone number and email they verified and must confirm their identity and age.

9. Prizes

First prize: a kitchen makeover at the winner’s home in Nigeria, designed and delivered by the Promoter’s chosen contractor. The scope is set by the Promoter. If the winner does not own the home, the property owner’s written approval is needed.

Second prize: an iPhone 18 Pro. Third prize: a refrigerator. Consolation prizes: [to confirm].

Prizes are not transferable and have no cash alternative unless the Promoter decides otherwise.

10. Using your entry

By entering, you allow the Promoter to publish your display name, state, photo, story and video on this website and on Onga’s social channels, credited by first name and state, for the Promotion and for twelve months after it.

The winners agree to take part in the reveal and the makeover documentary, with written consent before 16 October 2026.

11. Your data

Personal data is handled under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, as set out in the privacy notice. Your phone number, email, date of birth and address are never shown publicly.

12. General

The Promoter may change, suspend or end the Promotion if circumstances outside its control require it, and will post any change here. [to confirm: FCCPC and ARCON approval references]
